The 4-Step Installation Process
From first measurement to final smart-home pairing — every stage matters.
1. Measure Accurately
Measure the window opening at three points (top, middle, bottom) for width and the left, center, right for height. Use the smallest measurement for inside mounts.
- Use a steel tape measure
- Measure to the nearest 1/8 inch
- Account for obstructions like handles
2. Prep & Mark Mounting Points
Mark bracket locations level with a pencil. For outside mounts, ensure the headrail overhangs the opening by at least 1.5 inches on each side.

- Locate studs for heavy treatments
- Use wall anchors for drywall
3. Install Brackets & Headrail
